FAMILY-FRIENDLY
🧭 ABOUT / OUR STORY
Sitzmark Ski Area has been a part of the Okanogan Highlands since 1951 — a small hill with a big heart, built by local families who wanted a place for everyone to ski. Today, we operate through the combined effort of dedicated volunteers and a small paid team, offering affordable access to 80 acres of terrain, 10 named runs, and our classic red double chairlift overlooking Havillah Valley.
When you visit Sitzmark, you’re not just a guest — you’re part of the community that keeps this mountain turning.

GIVE THE GIFT OF YOUR TIME
Since it was founded in 1951, Sitzmark Ski Area has been able to spin its lift thanks to the generosity of volunteers.
From lodge staff and ski and snowboard instructors to ski patrol and lift operations, it's our volunteers who help create the unique experience that keeps skiers and snowboarders coming back to Sitzmark.
The gift of time is one of the most important when it comes to ensuring that Sitzmark continues to operate. Is it a commitment? Yes. Will you learn new skills? Certainly. Do you get access to season pass and day ticket perks? You know it!
🎟️ TICKETS & PASSES
Whether you ride every weekend or just a few times a season, your Sitzmark pass helps keep the lifts spinning. Purchase day tickets online or grab your season pass and become part of the story.
🧒 LESSONS & PROGRAMS

🏁 EVENTS & COMMUNITY
Sitzmark is more than a ski hill — it’s a winter gathering place. Join us for opening day celebrations, races, work parties, craft fairs, and the annual Altai Skis Demo & Hok Festival.
❤️ VOLUNTEER & DONATE
Sitzmark operates on heart and horsepower — the kind that comes from our volunteers and supporters. Whether you can lend a day in the lodge, help with grooming, or make a donation, every bit keeps Sitzmark alive for the next generation.
🏔️ SITZMARK SKI CLUB
The Sitzmark Ski Club is the heart of our mountain community — a group of members, families, and supporters who help guide the future of Sitzmark Ski Area through active participation and annual dues.
Joining the Ski Club means more than just supporting the hill — it means becoming part of the decision-making that keeps Sitzmark strong and sustainable. Members are invited to annual meetings, volunteer work days, and community events that shape each season.
